Jaqueline was born in Copenhagen Denmark to an African American father and a Danish mother and raised in the heart of New York City , she immediately took to the arts and was performing on stage as young as 8yrs. old. By the age of 16 she was in her first professional play, For Colored Girls. Bit by the acting bug and a desire to do well in the industry, Jaqueline continued to study and perform on stage in New York . After high school she moved to Chicago to study film, television and dance at Columbia College . She landed tons of national commercials and independent films and was honored with the prestigious Jeff Award, for best actress in an ensemble. After landing the role of Lisa Martin in New Line Cinemas' Love Jones and a drug addict in the Paramount feature, Losing Isaiah opposite Halle Berry , she decided to move to Hollywood for more opportunities in the film industry. |
